LG Fusion Destination

Website created to showcase the latest LG TV and mobile products. The theme of “fusion” was carried throughout the experience. Users discover each product by exploring its technical features and how they relate to their lifestyle.

 

LG FUSION MICROSITE

LG hired Publicis to create a microsite that showcased 2 new cutting edge devices. one was the LG BL40 Chocolate phone which had touch screen and slide keyboard and they new SL90 Ulta Slim LED TV. Thinnest in market at the time. 

 
 
 

We were to highlight these incredible features to potential customers. Microsite was to live on the LG.ca through a portal page on their homepage. 

 
 

LG SL90 LED TV

SCANNED INTO A 3D MODEL

 
 
 

LG Provided us with SL90 in order to create a 1:1 true representation of the product in a 3D environment. We scanned the TV layer by layer, removing components and scanning all internal components. I received the file as 3D mesh with no textures. I was tasked to texture and light this model and the produce some animations for the microsite. 3D Studio MAX was used to texture and animate the TV. VRay lighting and rendering gave it that photo-realistic finish.

 
 
 
 

LG CHOCOLATE BL40 MOBILE PHONE

The BL40 wasnt available in Canada yet but was rleased in the UK at the time. We hired a studio to scan the etxernal and internal componenets of the BL40 Phone. ONce we received the Mesh I was tasked to texture and light this model and the produce some animations for the microsite. 3D Studio MAX was used to texture and animate the TV. VRay lgihting and rendering gave it that photorealistic finish.
